Our new RV in Puyallup WA
Oct 1, 2000.
We just purchased this last week. Took some pictures Sunday, in
and out of the RV at the mobile home park we're staying at. Not
the grandest park, but it's only $315/mo and convenient to work.
We've got bushes and
street lights between each site, so it's hard to get a
full view of the drivers side of the RV. Right now the
other RV is almost
in front of it, but it will be gone in another week and a half.
You can see the 5 ft
fence we have around our backyard. The back hatch is
propped open to allow the cats to go in and out. We also
have a carport,
but it's included in the fenced in area, so Noel has a place to
sit outside
with shelter from the rain (not a whole lot of that yet this
year) and the
cats have a sheltered place as well. The front door of our
RV is pretty
much right in the middle with 3 large picture windows in front of
it. Our
yard entrance door is a standard house door up near the front of
the RV.
The white skirting is sheet aluminum I got from Boeing surplus to
stop the
cats from crawling away underneath the RV.
The nice thing about this
RV is the large L-shaped couch and the large
windows. It also has large compartments beside the TV for
all of our stereo equipment.
From the kitchen, you can
see the small dining table behind the couch. This
way there is not a huge amount of space devoted to the dining
room. We want
to build a pantry above the freezer where the CD player is now
and extend
the table out to the end of the couch.
Noel's coffee maker is
kitty corner to the sink, right in the middle of the
RV. The toaster oven will eventually be mounted under a
cabinet so it
doesn't take up counter space.
The bathroom is not big,
but more private than what we had before and more
storage.
