Voyager RV Park, Site 7-322, Sept 2004

(All pictures can be clicked for a larger image in a separate window)

We are spending enough time in Tucson, that we wanted to have a shed. We found a used one for sale in the park, where the owner was also selling an awning (for shade). Since they were already set up, we decided to relocate the RV to the other site and get the awning as well. The shed is the largest allowed within the park, 10 x 12 x 7 and the awning is tall enough to drive under with bicycles on the roof. Our neighbor behind is on a triangular lot, so the area directly behind us is nicely landscaped, rather than being occupied by another home. We have a park model on the East side to block the morning sun and the West side is an empty monthly rental site, used about 6 months out of the year. The palm tree is tall enough to walk under and provides additional shade.

We have more space on the door side of the RV and a small backyard that gets afternoon sun.
After some acquisitions:      BBQ Lighting

Our property line extends 6 inches past the awning supports on the East side, but effectively we have the area up to the park model side. On the West side, the street light is on the line. The bushes behind us are on the neighbor's property.

The Shed has some shelving already and is wired with 2 circuit breakers, telephone, and cable TV. It has 5 outlets and fluorescent lighting. It is fully insulated, has a roof vent above the shelving area and an air conditioner is mounted in the East wall. The single window can be slid open and the door is a wide 34 inches. There is a sensor double spot light on the outside of the shed. Panning clockwise:
We now have plenty of room to store the bikes:
